Alright! February 28, 2016 attack one enemy has been successfully defended again giving me 18 additional trophies. its been a while since I had defended my base plus giving me a trophy. Most of the attacks has been defended literally because most of it was only 1 star but not actually destroying my base 100%. Let me show you a screenshot for proof of my victory.
The attacker use most of his troops as Hog Riders which is level two, and obviously not enough to destroy my base. As I've watched his attack strategy, he deployed his troops in a wrong position immediately knocking out eight of his Hog riders.
And his healing spell is not enough to prolong the life of his troops, that's why the Hogs were easily wiped out by my defensive towers. And his Barbarian King did not stand long in my base.
That's why I'm happy with the result of his attack.
I have here my present farming Here i will show you one of my achievement for succesfully defending an enemy attack. And giving me a lot of trophies. And made me smile when I see it was 30 trophies. This was an attack made of a Town Hall level 9
It did not have the actual video, but it clearly shows that I defended my base.This Time I'm gonna show you my base. I'm Town Hall 8 and I'm only upgrading my walls before going to Th 9.
Well this is my base. As you Can see the town hall is in the center together with the dark elixir storage and being protected by the three tesla towers and sort of archer towers. I put my dark elixir at the center because it was to difficult to gather this kind of elixir. If I put it outside my base, I would easily loose my collected dark elixir.
It's been a good day. There a lots of things happened in my account in CoC. I leave my past clan because we have been lost for two consecutive Clan Wars. I bet that I will not get anything from that clan because they do not even Donate troops besides, I donate them some stuff they can you every war.

Note: At all levels of TH, it should always be protected by the defensive towers.
Because in the updated version of the townhall is very important to be at the center of the base.

If you're planning to upgrade your base, make sure you already upgraded all buildings and blocks. Especially if you are upgrading to Th7 8. If you rush upgrading your Town Hall then you have not finished upgrading your walls, it will be for you to fill hastle night of the level of your walls.

Well i am a CoC player for a year. I ts been a while since then, I have learned a lot when it comes to this game. its not that i can say it is the best, but I can enjoy it to the fullest.
